Pacific West Association of REALTORS® (PWR) is the fifth largest local REALTOR® association in the nation and the largest local Association of REALTORS® in the state of California, serving approximately 15,000 real estate professionals. The association offers a wide range of products, programs and services designed to enhance the professionalism and increase the productivity of its members. PWR’s governmental affairs team works closely with local, state and federal officials to advocate for home ownership and private property rights in Orange and South Los Angeles counties. The organization is the largest and one of the original shareholders in the Southern California Multiple Listing Service. PWR members subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics ensuring fairness to consumers and the general public. This commitment sets REALTORS® apart from other real estate practitioners who are not members of organized real estate. PWR gained industry recognition by developing such innovative programs such as the first-ever REALTOR® Association call center and its successful Member Relationship Tracking software program. Through its rPartner division, PWR provides association management services including the outsourcing of member services, government affairs, education and public relations. The organization’s leadership has been recognized for outstanding service to its members and the community by many elected officials including Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Congressman Ed Royce (R-CA) and Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D-CA). Since 2003, PWR REALTORS have contributed more than $300,000 to the PWR Charity Foundation supporting community service, victim support groups and housing issues in Orange and Los Angeles counties. In 2007, PWR introduces the “Opening Doors” First-Time Buyer Down Payment Assistance Program where PWR REALTORS® will address the local housing affordability crisis by assisting up to 40 families achieve the dream of homeownership.
