Register to Vote Today! The decisions made by elected officials affect our lives every day, from the taxes we pay to the roads we drive on to the schools our children attend. That's why it's important to participate in the political process and help choose your elected officials by exercising your right to vote. PWR encourages you to participate in the election process by taking the following actions: Register to vote: If you are not currently registered to vote, please do so. Register to vote online! Call to request voter registration form: 1-800-345-VOTE (8683) Encourage your colleagues and clients to register to vote: Provide blank voter registration cards at your office. Your clients will appreciate the added benefit of being able to register to vote quickly. Order blank voter registration cards now! Vote absentee: Registered voters may apply for an absentee ballot, by mail. Applications must be submitted to the county elections officials no later than 5 p.m. on November 1, 2006. Remember to vote: Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you need the location of your polling place, please call your county elections office or PWR at (714) 245-5562.
